Your Turn To Speak Up!
Speak Up Newport is Inviting Residents To Offer Their Opinions
Traditionally Speak Up Newport has presented programs on civic issues of concern to Newport Beach residents with a structured program of a speaker or speakers followed by questions to and answers from the speakers.
There is typically limited time for the Q & A follow up.
As the community forum for Newport Beach Speak Up Newport is trying something new; a chance for residents to voice their opinions in an open forum.
Moderated by Tom Johnson, publisher of Stu News, the forum will be an opportunity for residents to voice their opinions, good and bad, on current local issues in Newport Beach.
Come voice your opinions or come to hear others. The subject matter will be limited to local city and county issues and state issues that directly affect Newport Beach residents.
A tally of topics voiced will be presented to local officials so they will have an idea of what is on resident’s mind.
